Patsy Jean Gross, 61, of Jemison, passed away Dec. 4 at her residence.

She was born in Clanton on Aug. 9, 1952, the daughter of the late James E. Brown and Bobbie Jean Giles.

She was a former store manager with Sally Beauty Supply.

She is survived by her son, Chris Rutherford (Kelly) of Villa Rica, Ga.; daughter, Callie Martin (Robby) of Jemison; grandchildren, Krystal Rutherford, Audri Bearden, Grant Martin, Wade Rutherford and Rilee Martin; mother, Bobbie Giles (Earl) of Jemison; stepmother, Jean Brown of Kenesaw, Ga.; sister, Lojuana Marlow of Hoover; sister, Kimberly Crowe (Charles) of Jemison; brother, Jerry Giles of Orlando, Fla. along with a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gross; father, James E. Brown and brother, Jeff Giles.

Visitation will be held Dec. 6 from 6-8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. from Mineral Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. John Huckabee officiating.

The body will be in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in Mineral Springs Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.

Final arrangements entrusted to Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home of Clanton.
