Thorsby’s scheduled Town Council for Monday was cancelled after there was not a quorum present to call the meeting to order.

Council members Neil Benson and Glenn Littleton were present, along with Mayor Jean Nelson, but council members Marvin Crumpton, Randall Higgins and Nicole Hilyer were absent.

The council typically holds only one meeting in the month of December, Nelson said, so the next meeting will likely be Jan. 6.
