A Calera resident was arrested and held in the Chilton County Jail following a burglary at the Fish Market Restaurant off U.S. 280 last month.

Wesley Herbert Tennyson III was arrested and transported to the Chilton County Jail for failure to pay child support.

He was then released to Shelby County Jail where he is currently being held on charges of first-degree theft of property and a $20,000 bond, respectively.

Darrius Daniel Moon and Richard Allen Blackerby are also being held in the Shelby County Jail on bonds of $10,000 and $20,000.

Moon is charged with conspiracy to commit theft and Blackerby is charged with first-degree theft of property.

The three men were arrested after a large piece of commercial kitchen equipment was stolen from the Fish Market Restaurant Oct. 27.

After the burglary, Hoover Police posted a surveillance photograph on its Facebook page, which resulted in the suspects’ arrests.
