Faye Pearson, a resident of Marbury, passed away Nov. 17.
A celebration of life service will be held Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. from Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Roy officiating.
Burial will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Nov. 19 from 6-8 p.m.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Brenton Vanworth Pearson and Lela Belle Pearson; two brothers, Brenton and Jack Pearson; one sister, Doris Pearson.
Survivors include five nieces, Suzanne MacPherson, Virginia Pearson, Evette Pearson, Michelle Kirkman and Andrea Pearson; two nephews, Michael Pearson and Barry Pearson; 11 great-nieces and nephews and seven great-great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Evelyn Pearson; close family friends, Marlin and Jean Harris and Donovan Harris; nephew-in-law, Charles MacPherson; cousin, Wayne DeLoach.
Pearson graduated from Marbury High School in 1950 and from the University of Montevallo in 1954. She retired after 35 years in public education in Alabama and was a volunteer with the Autauga County Interfaith.
Pallbearers will be Michael Pearson, Marlin Harris, Donovan Harris, Chuck MacPherson, Lewis Gayden, Sean Gourley and Jack Anzalone.
Honorary pallbearer is, Wayne DeLoach.
