Fredrick William Kotke, 69, of Verbena, passed away Oct. 28 at VA Medical Center in Birmingham.

He was born on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1943, in Hibbing, Minn., son of the late Fredrick W. Kotke III and the late Anne Marie Galli Kotke Emery.

He was a district marketing manager.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathryne Kotke of Verbena; daughters, JoAnn Imhoff (Rusty) of Sherwood, Ark.; Christine Edmondson (Ronnie) of Roland, Ark., sons, Gregory Kotke of N.Y., Fred Kotke Jr. (Leona) of Verbena; brother, Patrick Kotke (Mary Ann) of Sturtebant, Wis.; sister, Tin Emery Martin of Juliet, Ga., step-brother, James Emery of Embarrass, Minn.; granddaughters, Melissa Imhoff Rogers (Shawn) of North Little Rock, Ark., Kayla Kotke of Verbena; grandsons, David Minor of Verbena, Kevin Kotke of Verbena, Chase Imhoff of Sherwood, Ark., Kyle Kotke of Verbena; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Rogers of North Little Rock, Ark.; great-grandson, Zachary Rogers of North Little Rock, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Albina Galli; mother, Anne Galli Emery; stepfather, James Emery; father, Fred Kotke III; brother, Thomas Kotke; brother, Caroll Kotke; granddaughter, Alexis Minor.

Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. Oct. 31 at Resurrection Catholic Church.

Services will be held Oct. 31 at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church with Father Bruce Bumbarger officiating.

Interment will follow in Vermillion Lake Cemetery in Vermillion Lake, Minn. Nov. 4.
