Hunter Lee Byrd, the 3-month old infant son of Brandy Brasher and the late Curtis Lee Byrd, passed away suddenly on Aug. 28. He was born in Alabaster on May 9.

He is survived by his mother, Brandy Brasher of Clanton; sister, Kimberly Byrd of Jemison; sister, Makaila Byrd of Clanton; brother, Noah Byrd of Clanton; grandparents, Hershel and Nora Byrd of Jemison; aunt, Brenda Mills of Clanton; aunt, Darlene Hester of Clanton; uncle, Terry Byrd (Lisa) of Wilsonville; great-aunt, Theresa Thomas of Shelby; great aunt, Susie Garrett of Gulf Shores; cousin, Justin Wilson of Clanton and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Byrd and grandparents, Clark and Barbara Mills.

Visitation was held on Aug. 31 from 6-8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held on Sept. 1 at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Thurmond Cleckler officiating.

Burial followed in Elliottsville Cemetery in Alabaster.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home of Clanton.
