Dorothy Jean Street 84, of Jemison passed away on March 25 at her residence.

She was born in Shelby County on Jan. 14, 1929, the daughter of the late Carl Johnson and the late Avalee Harris Johnson.

She was a greeter at the Calera Wal-Mart.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca “Pat” (Curtis “Pete”) Bishop of Jemison; daughter, Carla (Joe) Linholm of Jemison; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Street of Jemison; granddaughter, Debbie Norman of Montevallo; grandson, Steve Street of Clanton; granddaughter, Stacey Waites of Clanton; grandson, Vance Linholm of Lakeland, Fla., granddaughter, Chrissy Champagne of Jemison; granddaughter, Rachel Street of Jemison; special nephew, Butch Street of Chelsea and 11 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Street and son Steven Benjamin Street Sr.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26 from 6-8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services was held on March 27 at 11 a.m. from Rocky Mount United Methodist Church in Jemison with the Rev. Phillip Guin officiating.

Burial will follow at 1 p.m. in Allan Cemetery in Shelby County.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home in Clanton.
