Magdalene McGee Lawley, age 63 of Vandiver, passed away on Nov. 29, 2012, at her residence.

She was born in Bibb County on Feb. 26, 1949, the daughter of the late Clyde McGee and the late Mable Lee Smith McGee.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: husband, Joe Lawley of Vandiver; daughter, Donna (Brian) Bailey of Pell City; son, Wayne (Angela) Lawley of Vandiver; granddaughters, Emily Danzy, Mille Bailey, Megan Lawley, Tessa Bailey and Aubrey Lawley; sister, Mary (Buddy) Frith of Jemison; sister, Martha Lawley of Jemison, sister, Margaret McGee of Jemison; sister, Judy (James Carl) Jacks of Jemison; brother, Frank McGee of Jemison; brother, Tommy (Lou) McGee of Tuscaloosa; brother, Eddie (Jeannie) McGee of Jemison; brother, Leonard (Betty Sue) McGee of Briarfield; brother, Ricky (Debbie) McGee of Randolph; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. from Randolph Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.

Burial will follow in Randolph Baptist Cemetery in Randolph.
