The Midfield Patriots from the beginning dominated the football field Friday night against the Thorsby Rebels to win 56-6.

The only score by the Rebels came in the first quarter when Darius Davis intercepted a pass and returned it 52 yards in the first quarter.

However, the Patriots offense and defense constantly moved the ball in their favor.

For the Rebels, senior Nathan Oldroyd rushed five times for 16 yards, and completed 5-of-10 passes.

Senior Nolan Hayes had seven rushing attempts for 62 yards.

Leading tackler Dalton Turner had nine tackles, Brady Garrigus had seven tackles and Bobby Watley had six tackles.
