Willodean Mims, age 76 of Clanton, passed away on July 12, 2012, at her residence.

She was born in Chilton County on Sept. 5, 1935, the daughter of the late Andrew Minor and the late Lela Mims Minor.

She was a loving and devoted homemaker for her family.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Eugene Mims; son, Barney (Cindy) Mims; daughter, Cynthia (Shane) Connell; son, Lance Cleckler; grandson, Brandon Mims; grandson, Garrett Connell; great-grandson, Kaine Mims; sister, Wanda Martin; sister, Mary Ann Brasher; and brother, Travis Adams, all of Clanton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, along with: daughter, Martha Cleckler; son, Steven Mims; and son, infant Ricky Eugene Mims.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 15 at 1 p.m. from the Refuge Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug West, the Rev. David Reed and the Rev. Charles Brooks officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at the church on Sunday.

Burial will follow in the Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery in Clanton.
