Mary P. Reid, age 81, beloved resident of Southland Nursing Home, went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2012, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W.C. and Zonie McMinn; daughter, Debra Ann Patterson Davenport; and brothers, Hollis and James McMinn. She is survived by her son, John Patterson Jr. of Abdereen, Wash.; brother, Ben McMinn of San Diego, Calif.; two grandchildren, Chris and Eric Davenport; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Monday, June 4 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
