Sandra P. Hayes, 65, of Stanton died Tuesday, May 1, 2012.

She was born on Saturday, March 22, 1947, in Talladega County, daughter of the late Wesley Eugene Payne and the late Katherine Wallace Payne.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, William R. Hayes of Stanton; son, Donnie Hayes of Stanton; daughters, Joyce Hayes Wells of Huntsville, Eileen Hayes Jones of Frisco City and Jennifer Hayes Higginbotham of Stanton; sisters, Patricia Frisch of Brainerd, Minn. and Kathie Clark of Selma; brothers, Frank E. Payne of Maplesville, Johnny Payne of Stanton, Roy Glenn Payne of Maplesville and Bill Payne of Maplesville; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Hayes.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 4 at Stanton Bible Methodist Church.

Services will be held Saturday, May 5 at 2 p.m. at Stanton Bible Methodist Church with the Rev. John Ingram officiating.
