JMS baseball posts fourth no-hitter

Jemison Middle School’s baseball team recorded its fourth no-hitter of the season Tuesday.
In fact, the Panthers allowed only one hit in two games against rival Clanton Middle.
Cade Hatch and Logan Ray combined for a one-hitter in a 9-2 over CMS in Game 1 of a doubleheader, and Will Lenoir and Clay Cunningham combined for a no-hitter in the second game, a 9-0 win.
The wins improve JMS’s record to 16-1.
Conner Nason went 4-for-5 in the two games combined with four runs batted in. Phillip Lenoir went 3-for-6 with five RBI, Banks Woodley was 3-for-4 with two RBI, Hatch was 2-for-5 with one RBI and Trey Sanders was 2-for-5.
