Flora M. Cleckler

Flora M. Cleckler, 85, of Clanton died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at her residence.

She was born on Saturday, Oct. 16, 1926, in Alabama, daughter of the late Claude C. Headley and the late Fannie Bell Baker Headley.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are husband, Ivy Gene Cleckler of Clanton; two daughters, Janice (Dale) Headley of Clanton and Cathy (Toby) Rutherford of Clanton; son, Cleveland (Barbara) Jones of Clanton; daughter-in-law, Debra Cleckler Taylor of Clanton; two sisters, Marzell Rice of Prattville and Willodean Gable of Hoganville, Ga.; two brothers, Alton Headley of Montgomery and Jimmy C. Headley of Clanton; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: son, Randall Gene Cleckler and Glenda Jones, daughter-in-law.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, March 22 at Zion Ridge Church of God.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 23 at Zion Ridge Church of God with the Rev. Mike Cleckler and the Rev. Arthur Davis officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Clanton.
