Chilton County High School golfer Ivan Truss posted the second best score out of a field of 85 players at the Timberline Classic on March 5.

Truss shot a 73 and was followed by teammates Blake Jenkins (79), Forrest Knight (81), Jordan Lightsey (88) and Jacob Hay (89).

The Tigers finished third out of 16 teams.

Jemison also competed in the tournament. The Panthers’ best score was posted by Timothy Bragg.
