Jemison’s boys tennis team defeated Booker T. Washington, 9-0, on Feb. 28.

Andrew Morton, Jake Long, Trevan Anderson, William Morton, Dylan Cummings and Brett Paschal all won singles matches; as did the doubles combinations of Andrew Morton and Long, Anderson and Cummings, and William Morton and Paschal.

The JHS girls came up short as a team, but Tanya Liveoak and Carley Pate won singles matches, and Macey Thompson and Pate won in doubles.
