Ernest C. Lockhart, age 85 of Leeds, passed away Feb. 29, 2012.

Mr. Lockhart was preceded in death by his parents, Reece and Era Lockhart; sister, Willodean Coggins; brothers, Cecil Lockhart and E.J. Lockhart.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Lockhart; daughters, Sheila Lambert (Royce), Deanna Payne (Greg) and Camille Lockhart; sons, Danny Lockhart (Virginia), Ronnie Lockhart (Marsha), Kevin Lockhart and Buddy Gray (Pam); sisters, Joanne Mullins and Nell Cordell; brother, Bill Lockhart; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until noon, Friday, March 2 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.

Graveside Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 2 at Crestview Cemetery in Adamsville.
