Reedie Minor, age 83 of Clanton, passed away on Feb. 27, 2012, at Chilton Medical Center in Clanton.

He was born in Clanton on April 17, 1928, the son of the late Jodie Minor and the late Ucibe Connell Minor.

He worked as a machinist with Keystone in Clanton.

He is survived by: son, Tommie Minor of Clanton; daughter, Shannon Rawlinson of Clanton; grandson, Chris Minor of Clanton; granddaughter, Shawn (Kevin) Brasher of Maytown; grandson, Christopher (Megan) Rawlinson of Clanton; great-grandsons, Reed and Joey Brasher of Maytown.

He is preceded in death by: wife, Bertha Minor, and son, Randy Minor.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at Ellison-Mims Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 29 from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Mims Funeral Home with the Rev. Wendell Kelley officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sunshine Assembly of God Cemetery in Clanton.
