Jeffery Paul Lovett, age 42 of Clanton, passed away on Feb. 23, 2012. at his residence.

He was born in Chilton County on Oct. 7, 1969, the son of the late Charles Roger Lovett and Minnie Pauline Northcutt Lovett.

Paul was employed by the Chilton County Road Department. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during Desert Storm.

He is survived by: wife, April Lovett of Clanton; mother, Pauline Lovett of Jemison; brother, Mark Lovett of Greenville; brother, John Lovett of Jemison; brother, Matthew Lovett of Wetumpka; sister, Kim Dooley of Clanton; grandmother, Minnie Northcutt of Jemison; and uncle, Clyde Northcutt of Jemison.

He is preceded in death by: father, Roger Lovett; sister, Debra Kilgore; and nephew, Justin Dooley.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26 at Ellison-Mims Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 27 from West End Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenny Martin and the Rev. William Earl Short officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery in Jemison.
