Billingsley baseball earned its first win of the season in its second game, 8-4 over Verbena on Thursday.

The Bears scored four runs in the top of the first inning and never trailed, leading 7-1 going into the bottom of the third and holding the Red Devils scoreless in the final four innings.

Dalton Acreman had a double for BHS, while Andrew Dudley and Riley Tindol drove in two runs each.
