Joan Elizabeth Patterson, 56, of Prattville died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Baptist South, Montgomery.

She was born on Friday, April 8, 1955, in Chilton County, daughter of the late James Reedie Patterson and the late Grace Wilson Patterson.

She was a housing manager.

Surviving are her two sons, Neal Easterling of Wetumpka and John (Jeanne) Easterling of Prattville; four granddaughters, Hannah Fiederr of Prattville, Kristen Easterling of Wetumpka, Grace Easterling of Prattville and Lily Easterling of Prattville; three sisters, Inez Martin of Clanton, Mary Sample of Little Rock, Ark. and Betty Cook of Clanton; special friends, Rita and Emily Mason; and special friend, Theresa Nola.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reedie and Grace Patterson.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at Bonner’s Landing on Lake Jordan with the Rev. Gerald Wood officiating. Joan, in commitment to her fellow man, donated her organs for transplant.
