Thorsby shuts out Blocton

Thorsby’s baseball team shut out West Blocton, 13-0, on Tuesday to improve to 2-0 on the year.

Jason Price was the winning pitcher, holding the opponents to two hits and two walks in five innings while striking out 10 batters.

Parker Bryan had a hit, two runs batted in and a stolen base in the game; and J.R. Posey went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored.

Jace Maddox was 1-for-1 with three walks, two RBI and three runs scored.
