On Sunday, Oct. 23, the Rev. Michael Cleckler officiated at an inspiring dedication service at Zion Ridge Church of God for Harper Rae Cleckley, daughter of Chris and Rachel Cleckley; and Kipton Matthew Gray, son of Kevin and Kacy Gray.

Rev. Cleckler emphasized that children are a heritage from the Lord and challenged the parents to raise them in a godly manner. Each family received a Bible and a rose.

Cleckley was wearing a halo of live pink and white roses and a gown handmade by her grandmother Tucker.

Gray’s outfit was a special gift from his great aunt, Donna Rooks. His grandparents attending were Terry and Ginger Gray, Jeff and Anita Henley, and Michael and Kayla Carroll.

Cleckley’s grandparents attending were Larry and Kathy Marler, Tommy and Reba Tucker, Cecil and Hazel Cleckley and great-grandmother Myrtle Hayes.
