Lois Irene Cotton

Graveside service for Ms. Lois Irene Cotton, 83, of Alexander City, will be held Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the Swamp Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Clyde Coker will officiate.
The family received friends on Monday, Oct. 17 from 6-8 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home.
Ms. Cotton passed away on Saturday, Oct. 15 at her residence. She was born on Aug. 31, 1928, in Chilton County to James Talton Cotton and Martha Jane Fulmer Cotton.
For many years, Ms. Cotton worked as a nurse’s aid for the nursing home in Clanton. She was a very religious lady and was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed reading her Bible, working wood search puzzles, and watching wrestling, football and baseball.
She is survived by four nieces, one nephew, 10 great nieces and five great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Margie Ree Woodfin and Myrtle Glenn.
