Alvin Wesley Bridges

Alvin Wesley Bridges, 91, of Clanton died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at Chilton Medical Center in Clanton.

He was born Friday, Oct. 17, 1919, in Coosa County, son of the late Thomas L. Bridges and the late Ola Tippet Bridges.

He was an owner/operator.

Surviving are his two daughters, Charlene (Duane) Myers of Hueytown and Linda Aycock of Wetumpka; son, Ken (Lisa) Aycock of Clanton; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Harold Bridges of Holtville and Lester Bridges of Westover.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Easterling Bridges; second wife, Faye Wilder Bridges; brother, James Bridges; and sister, Ann Bridges.

Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Temple Assembly of God Church.

Services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 2 p.m. at Temple Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Royce Ellison officiating.

Interment will follow in Temple Assembly of God Cemetery in Clanton.
