Frances Culp Brown

Frances Culp Brown, 83, of Prattville died Sunday, June 26, 2011.

She was born Monday, July 11, 1927, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Clifford Culp and the late Lena Fisher Culp.

She was a schoolteacher.

Surviving are her son, W. Mark (Susan) Brown of Deatsville; daughter, Sharon (Donnie) Jones of White City; grandchildren, Trey (Kimberly) Brown of Deatsville, Daniel, Austin and Rebecca Jones of White City; half-sister, Beatrice Ingram; half-brothers, Paul Culp and Robert Culp; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Reed Brown; sister, Dean Stroud; and half-brothers, Joe, Billy and Donald Culp.

Services will be held Tuesday, June 28 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lamar Lyon and the Rev. Woodrow Turner officiating.

Interment will follow in White City Cemetery in Autauga County.
