Jeanette Veazey, 66, of Clanton died Friday, June 17, 2011, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

She was born Thursday, Oct. 16, 1944, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Slay Rogers and the late Hazel Argo Rogers.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Susan V. (Mark) Godwin of Clanton; son, Mr. Greg Veazey of Clanton; father, Mr. Jack Wilson of Clanton; granddaughter, Ms. Kayla Veazey of Clanton; and three grandsons, Mr. Justin Veazey, Mr. Noah Godwin and Mr. Cole Godwin, all of Clanton.

She was preceded in death by mother, Hazel Wilson; son, Danny Veazey; and brother, Ronnie Rogers.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Sunday, June 19 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Monday, June 20 at 11 a.m. at Highland Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Griffin officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Baptist Cemetery.
