Alfred Cody Pate

Alfred Cody Pate, 93, of Randolph died Saturday, May 21, 2011.

He was born Friday, April 12, 1918, in Chilton County, son of the late Allen Sylvester Pate and the late Laura Mae Posey Pate.

He worked logging timber.

Surviving are his wife, Betty J. Pate of Randolph; two daughters, Elaine (Henry) Morgan of Jasper and Brenda (Mike) Easterling of Millbrook; son, Michael C. (Rhonda) Pate of Randolph; brother, Arnold A. Pate of Randolph; sister, Helen M. Pate of Jemison; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 24 at 1 p.m. at Union Springs Baptist with the Rev. Evie Megginson officiating.

Interment will follow in Union Springs Cemetery.
