Three Chilton County High School athletes held ceremonies Friday to officially announce they will play collegiately.

Jacob McKinney (above) will play football at Huntingdon; Audrey Gentry (below) will play basketball at Judson College; and Grantland Karn (bottom) will play basketball at Huntingdon.

The student-athletes were joined by family members, coaches and school administrators.

“It’s great for our school to have three different athletes in three different sports,” CCHS athletic director and football coach Brian Carter said. “It shows hard work pays off. A very small percentage of athletes have this opportunity, so we’re proud of these three.”
