Panthers take Round 2 from Homewood

Jemison’s boys tennis team defeated Homewood, 6-3, on Wednesday, avenging a 5-4 loss from earlier in the season.

“We did a little better today—a lot better actually,” JHS coach Benton Morton said.

Singles winners were Drew Posey, Taylor Long, Andrew Morton and Jake Long.

Victorious in doubles action for the Panthers (13-2) were the combinations of Morton and Jake Long, and Cole Thompson and Nick Long.
