Jody and Donna Hill of Clanton are happy to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Whitney Hill, to Brian Elliot, son of Jim Elliot and Cherlyn Thornley of Vestavia Hills.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of George and Margie Strother of Valley. She is a 2004 graduate of Chilton County High School and majored in human development and family studies at Auburn University.
The prospective groom is the grandson of James and Novis Elliot of Vestavia Hills. He is a 2004 graduate of Vestavia Hills High School and majored in horticulture at Auburn University. He is currently employed by Landscape Workshops.
The wedding is set for March 26, 2011. Invitations are being sent.
