Angela Burford and Jonathan Bennett are happy to announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding.

The bride elect is the daughter of Glenda Bice and the late Carl Franklin Bice of Childersburg, and the granddaughter of P. Lonnie Burford and Jessie Burford of Birmingham.

She is a 1998 graduate of McAdory High School and a graduate of Bessemer State Tech, where she majored in commercial art.

The prospective groom is the son of Robert and Vickie Bennett of Thorsby, and the grandson of O.B. Bennett and Elizabeth Bennett of Clanton.

He is a 2002 graduate of Thorsby High School and is currently employed at Wal-Mart.

The wedding is scheduled for April 9, 2011. Invitations will be sent.
