Georgia Louise Chambers Mount, age 89 of Maplesville, passed away on March 24, 2011, at Hatley Healthcare in Clanton.

She was born Oct. 5, 1921, in Alabama, the daughter of the late George W. Johnson and the late Minnie Day Johnson.

She is survived by: daughter, Ruby (Roy) McGee of Navarre, Fla.; daughter, Linda (Ralph) Hayes of Cantonment, Fla.; son, Bobby (Sandra) Chambers of Maplesville; daughter, Brenda (Jimmy) Jones of Maplesville; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; much loved nieces and nephews; numerous friends; and special caretaker, Margaret Tyus.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 25 from 6-8 p.m. at Ellison-Mims Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26 at 11 a.m. from Maplesville Baptist Church with the Rev. Odean Johnson officiating. Mrs. Mount will be in state one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Maplesville.
