Adam Michael Baker, age 35 of Clanton passed away on March 2, 2011, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

He was born on Aug. 18, 1975, in Liberty, N.Y., the son of Harvey Baker Sr. and the late Denise Mootz.

He is survived by: father, Harvey (Marilyn) Baker Sr. of Cortez, Colorado; brother, Harvey (Joy) Baker Jr. of Jemison; sister, Jennifer (Darryl) Kik of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Kristy (Paul Kavlaski) Baker of Ferndale, N.Y.; brother, Andy (Cheryl) Ross of Boone, N.C.; brother, Benjamin Kautz of Fort Bliss, Texas; aunt, Sue (Danny) Naughton of Callicoon Center, N.Y.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, the late Denise Mootz.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5 at 2 p.m. from Glad Tidings Church of God in Clanton with the Rev. Odell Bryant officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will follow in Glad Tidings Church of God Cemetery in Clanton.
