Isabella’s baseball team scored two runs in the fifth inning Tuesday for a 4-3 comeback win at Verbena.

Sawyer Cahalane hit a two-run home run in the first inning for the visitors, but Kelly Dorsett scored once and Jacob Montgomery twice to give VHS a lead.

Cahalane tripled with two outs in the fifth and was brought home by Austin Haigler’s double. Haigler scored on a single by Nick Noah that turned out to be the game winner.

Haigler earned the win on the mound for IHS.
