Lera M. Price, 96, of Verbena died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011.

She was born Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1914, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Martin V. Wright and the late Clarice Vinson Wright.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her son, Ferrell (Flora) Price of Verbena; daughter, Barbara (Sam) Coker of Verbena; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; brothers, Alton and Jimmy Wright of Clanton; and three sisters, Mary Delene Coleman of Florida, Ruth Williams of Opelika and Dorothy Bell of Dothan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Price.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17 at Martin Chapel.

Services will be held Friday, Feb. 18 at 1 p.m. at Bethsalem Baptist Church with the Rev. Brad Eubanks and the Rev. Mike Cleckler officiating.

Interment will follow in Bethsalem Baptist Cemetery.
