Fred H. Lucas, 46, of Ardmore, formerly of Maplesville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, in Athens.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Lucas of Ardmore; parents, Leslie and Genie Lucas of Maplesville; four sons, Christopher, Michael and Matthew Lucas, all of Ardmore, and Carl Lucas of Montevallo; daughters, Jeanie and Emma Lucas of Ardmore and Ashley Lucas of Missouri; three brothers, Thomas Lucas (Janice) of Montevallo, Roy Lucas of Childersburg and Jerry Lucas (Donna) of Maplesville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation and funeral service were held at Rockco Funeral Home, Montevallo, on Monday, Jan. 17 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Scott Carter officiating.
