Johnnie C. Adams Knueppel, age 69, of Clanton passed away on Jan. 13, 2011, at her residence. She was born Nov. 28, 1941, in Shelby County, the daughter of the late John Coshatt and the late Annie Glass Coshatt.

She is survived by her son, Paul (Gloria) Coshatt of Clanton; along with six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; sister, Lois Scott of Wilsonville; brother, Noah Junior Whatley of Montevallo; and brother, Earl Whatley of Columbia, SC.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Mims Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Smith will officiate.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
