Hollis N. Foshee, 79,  of Jemison died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011.

He was born Friday, Oct. 9, 1931, in Chilton County, son of the late Newt Foshee and the late Dovie Dawson Foshee.

He was a core maker.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Sue Foshee of Jemison; daughter, Sarah Foshee Connell of Jemison; son-in-law, Artis Connell of Jemison; grandson, Scott Connell of Jemison; and sister, Christine Smith of Thorsby.

He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Foshee.

Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Robinson Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Littleton and the Rev. David Farris officiating.

Interment will follow in Robinson Springs Cemetery in Clanton.
