Janice Elaine Jones, 67, of Clanton died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at Chilton Medical Center in Clanton.

She was born Monday, Nov. 2, 1942, in Chilton County, daughter of the late James Austin Gore and the late Bertie Mae Cleckley Gore.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her two sons, Mike (Pam) Jones of Elmore and Keith (Darla) Jones of Bessemer; four brothers, James (Janet) Gore of Verbena, Larry (Renhae) Gore of Thorsby, Keilan (Ann) Gore of Clanton and Wilbor (Donna) Gore of Verbena; and grandchildren, Kayla, Seth, Kenzie Jones and Laura Harden.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 19 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 3 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Brooks and Elder Mike Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton. Martin Funeral Home directing.
