Mildred L. DeLoach, 86, of Verbena died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010.

She was born on Monday, Nov. 12, 1923, in Mississippi, daughter of the late Lonnie Cummings and the late Louise Scarbrough Cummings.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her two daughters, Michele (Steve) Wilson of Verbena, Cindy (Stevie Joe) Mims of Clanton; two sons, Arnold (Maurine) DeLoach of Verbena, Donald (Lu) DeLoach of Calera; two step-daughters, Pat (Ernie) Crawford of Seneca, S.C., and Teen (Tom) Vick of Richmond, Va.; sister, Vera Childress of Fairview, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. DeLoach; father, Lonnie Cummings; mother, Louise Cummings; great grandson, Jimmy Shaver; and great granddaughter, Charlotte Harris.

Friends will be received from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris May and the Rev. Derek Deavers officiating.

Interment will follow in Bethany Baptist Cemetery in Verbena.
