Three sets of Swedish Fest queens crowned

The curtains opened and the 2010 Miss Thorsby Swedish Fest Pageant began with an opening number performed by the 2010 Junior Miss contestants at the Thorsby High School Auditorium Monday night.
The first section of the night was Tiniest Miss ages 2-4. The contestant crowned Tiniest Miss 2010 was Alexa “Lexie” Deavers. First runner-up was Addyson Williams; second runner-up, Cresley Claire Haggard; third runner-up, Alli Kate Calhoun and fourth runner-up was Madison Thornton.
The second section to grace the stage was Little Miss, ages 8-10. Hope Knight was crowned Little Miss 2010. First runner-up was Madalyn Barrington; second runner-up, Stella Lorynn Bice; third runner-up, Addison Minor and fourth runner-up was Reagan Powell.
The final section of young ladies to grace the stage for the night was the Junior Miss, ages 13-15. The contestant who took home the title and was crowned Junior Miss 2010 was Catherine Rowe. First runner-up was Makenzie Ray, second runner-up Kandice Cleckler, third runner-up Elizabeth Ray and fourth runner was Darian Hope Green.
“I’m so excited,” said Rowe, as she clutched her bouquet of flowers and smiled for photos.
The pageant will continue Tuesday, when Young Miss and Miss 2010 will be crowned.
