Christina Spearman and Andrew Smith wish to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride elect is the daughter of Kenneth Ray Spearman and Freda Spearman of Thorsby and the granddaughter of Junior and Quida Robinson of Jemison.
She is a 2006 graduate of Thorsby High School and attended Wallace State, where she majored in science.

The prospective groom is the son of Lynn and Sandy Smith of Clanton and the grandson of Elmer and Janice Powell of Clanton.
He is a 2006 graduate of Thorsby High School.
The wedding will take place Oct. 2, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church No. 2.
