The Rev. Edward Lee Chandler

The Rev. Edward Lee Chandler, 86, of Clanton died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010.
He was born Thursday, Feb. 28, 1924, in Autauga County, son of the late Alonza Lee Chandler and the late Cleedie Ethel McGee Chandler.
He was a minister.
Surviving are his daughter, Vera (Ray) Driver of Clanton; two sons, Julius Chandler of Thorsby and E.J. (Linda) Chandler of Brierfield; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews; sister, Dorothy (Curtis) Ray of Clanton; and brother, James Allen (Jerrie) Chandler of Evergreen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dot Chandler; daughter, Rose Chandler; granddaughter, Renee Driver; father, Alonza Lee Chandler; and mother, Clettie Ethel Chandler.
Services were held Tuesday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. at Cane Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Cleckler and the Rev. Don Vanderslice officiating. Interment followed in Cane Creek Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.
