Lomax Assembly of God is sponsoring its second Kids Crusade next week.

The theme is “JC’s Round Up,” and the program will run nightly Sunday, July 18 through Tuesday, July 20.

Lomax’s Youth Pastor Erron Price said he hopes the round up makes an impact with children.

“It’s not going to be your typical children’s ministry,” Price said. “It’s going to be more involved.”

The program will include puppets, games and other activities that go along with the Western theme. The entire stage is set up with an Old West theme.

There will also be a blow out party Tuesday, along with prizes and giveaways.

But more importantly to Price, each night will have a message for the children.

“[Our goal] is to present a relatable message of Jesus Christ to our young children in a fun and creative way,” Price said.

Kids Crusade is free and designed for children ages 3-11. Sunday’s program starts at 5 p.m., while the fun on Monday and Tuesday begins at 7 p.m.
