Lucille Edwards, 81, of Jemison died Saturday, July 10, 2010.
She was born on Thursday, January 10, 1929, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Millard Crumpton and the late Irene McGraw Crumpton.
She was a housekeeping supervisor at Chilton County Medical Center.
Surviving are her daughter, Patsy (Ronnie) Surles; three grandchildren, Micki (Jay) Turner, Lisa (John Herron) Surles and Crystal (John) Blozik; seven great grandchildren, Haylee Hayes, Savannah (Jonah) Crumpton, Amber Ellison, Taylor Beth Gibson, Katie Ellison, Christian Dennis and Trey Turner; three great great grandchildren, Ben “BeBo” Hayes Wilson, Kaydon Crumpton and Chelsea Crumpton; and sister, Civilene Scott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbern (Snubb) Edwards; and brother, Oneal Crumpton.
Friends were received from 5-8 p.m., Monday, July 12 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Mars Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Harris and the Rev. William Short officiating.
Interment will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery in Jemison.
