Julie Bray Overby, 44, of Verbena died Friday, July 9, 2010, at UAB hospital in Birmingham.

She was born on Friday, April 1, 1966, in Anchorage, Alaska, daughter of the late Thomas Judson Bray and the late Frankie McCary Bray.

She was a customer service receptionist.

Surviving are her husband, William Overby of Verbena; daughter, Sarah Swanner of Verbena; brother, James Edward Bray of Clanton; and sister, Alicia Mims of Clanton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Judson and Frankie Bray.

Friends will be received from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 13 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Anderson officiating.
