Annie Ruth Ellison Wilson, 75, of Clanton died Saturday, July 3, 2010, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.
She was born Wednesday, Aug. 15, 1934, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Marion Ellison and the late Ila Mae Dozer Ellison.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her two sons, Donald Joe (Jackie) Wilson of Douglasville, Ga. and Bobby Ray (Tonya) Wilson of Clanton; two daughters, JoAnn (Randy) Prough of Clanton and Darlene Driver of Clanton; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; four brothers, Joe Ellison of Austin, Texas, Jr. Ellison of Abilene, Texas, Lonnie Gene Ellison of Dayton, Ohio and Jimmy Ellison of Clanton; and sister, Helen Dawson of Jemison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Jack” Wilson; son, Kenneth Oneal Wilson; and four infant children.
Services were held Tuesday, July 6 at 11 a.m. at Cane Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Scott and the Rev. Jerry Cleckler officiating.
Interment followed in Cane Creek Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.
