James Robert “Robbie” Crawford
James Robert “Robbie” Crawford, 42, of Clanton went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 24, 2010.
He was born Thursday, July 6, 1967, in Chilton County, son of the late Frederick Lee Crawford and Odis Virginia Jacks Crawford.
He was an equipment operator.
Surviving are his wife, Robin Crawford of Clanton; daughter, Daddy’s special little girl Virginia “Regan” Crawford of Clanton; mother, Virginia Crawford of Clanton; three brothers, Frankie Crawford of Verbena, Jeff Crawford of Verbena and Benjie Crawford of Billingsley; two sisters, Donna Wilson of Verbena and Darlene Edwards of Verbena; grandmother, Verlie Mae Poe of Clanton; special aunt and uncle, Snuffy and Judy “Coodey” Jacks; in-laws, Brenda and Steve Jones and Bob and Glenda Cook; best friend for life, Wendell Smitherman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Crawford.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 26 at 10 a.m. at Martin Memorial with the Rev. Tony D. Smitherman officiating.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
