Clanton Middle School dancer Hope Short attended Universal Dance Association camp at Auburn University from June 2-5.

Short was awarded an All-American All-Star medal; an Outstanding Dance Team Member pin; three superior ribbons for A, B and C routines; and two superior ribbons for drills.

She is the daughter of Kenny and Kim Short and the granddaughter of Bill and Eathel Short of Clanton Etta Clark and the late Buddy Clark and of Clanton.
